Training for tailoring, sewing and knitting through the ReLOaD project has been completed



In Bijeljina, the ReLOaD project „Women's hands - women's business“ was realized. Training for tailoring, sewing and knitting was organized for women from the rural areas of the City of Bijeljina.
The aim of the project  was self-employment of women who successfully passed training. In the first phase of project, 22 women were trained, and in total 45 of them  finished training - said coordinator of the project „Women's hands - women's business“ Mirzeta Tomljanovic at a press conference.
According to her, training included education for selling their own products, as well as ways of advertising.



- Women are trained how to register their  companies, and they presented their products at several exhibitions – said Tomljanovic.
Total value of the project was 50.000,00 BAM, 70% were provided from EU funds, and the City Administration of Bijeljina participated with 30%.
Senior Project Coordinator  for grants in the ReLOaD project from UNDP, Sanja Bokun, said that this project is being implemented in another 20 units of local self-government in B&H adding and that in Bijeljina has allocated about 187.000,00 BAM for projects of six civil society organizations.
