PLAQUE OF THE CITY OF BIJELJINA
The Plaque of the City of Bijeljina is the highest accolade of the City of Bijeljina, which is awarded as recognition for outstanding achievements in the field of art and general interest of the City of Bijeljina.
 
MEDAL “PRINCE IVO OF SEMBERIJA”
Medal “Prince Ivo of Semberija” is an accolade which is awarded for the acts which deserve general respect and recognition in the city, especially for the acts of humanism, selfless sacrifice in saving people and goods, struggle for freedom and human dignity, expressed personal courage and for acts that contribute to a happier and more humane life.
Medal “Prince Ivo of Semberija” is also awarded to especially successful individuals and legal entities in agriculture and commerce in general.

MEDAL “FILIP VIŠNJIĆ”
Medal “Filip Višnjić” is an accolade which is awarded for generally recognised work and acts of special significance for the city in the field of art, education, science, and culture in general.
 
BADGE OF THE CITY OF BIJELJINA
Badge of the City of Bijeljina is an accolade which is awarded for outstanding work, acts and personal success which contribute to the general affirmation of organisations, institutions and the city in various areas of life and work, sports, physical education and other areas.
 
CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION
Certificate of Appreciation of the City of Bijeljina is awarded for humanitarian work, expressed solidarity and other acts that have significance for the city.
  
Artistic form and appearance of accolades is prescribed by the Heraldry Commission, in agreement with the mayor of Bijeljina.
Accolades are made using etalons which are kept safe. Manufacture and marketing of objects with the shape and appearance of the accolades of the City of Bijeljina are not permitted. Exceptionally, for the needs of museums and other institutions, the manufacture of accolades copies may be approved.
  
AWARDING THE ACCOLADES
Plaque of the City of Bijeljina can be awarded to an individual or legal entity only once. Plaque of the City of Bijeljina is awarded once a year. Maximum of three entities can be awarded this accolade during one year. Medal “Prince Ivo of Semberija”, Medal “Filip Višnjić”, and the Badge of the City of Bijeljina can be awarded several times during a year, provided that the initiative for the award is submitted to competent authority no later than 30 days before deciding on the award. These accolades can be awarded to the same entity only once a year. Certificate of Appreciation of the City of Bijeljina can be awarded more than once a year to the same entity.
Accolades of the City of Bijeljina can be awarded to individuals, companies, institutions, and other organisations. The initiative for the award can be launched by a political party, state authority, company, institution, or another organisation in the city. The proposal for the award of an accolade is considered by the Commission for awards and accolades which is formed in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the City Assembly.
The City Assembly is the competent authority for the award of accolades of the City of Bijeljina, except for the Certificate of Appreciation of the City of Bijeljina, which can be awarded by both mayor and the president of the City Assembly.
