Section for Public Procurements, Investments and Supervision performs jobs related to conduction of the complete procedure for public procurements of goods, services and works pursuant to the Law on Public Procurements of BaH, from the investment assessment, preparation of tender documentation, publishing the public procurement, reception of tender documents, selection of the most favourable bidder by a public procurement commission, preparation of contract proposals, monitoring the implementation of contracts for designing and construction of buildings for the departments without necessary staff, and investment and control supervision over the implementation of these investments, as well as other jobs placed in their scope of work by special documents.
 
 
In planning of work, and reporting in the scope of work, the Section performs the following jobs:
  • prepares a proposal of the annual public procurements plan according to the prescribed methodology at the City Administration level, monitors its implementation after adopting, and suggests updates of the plan in accordance with changed circumstances, prepares report on implementation of the annual public procurements plan;
  • prepares annual operational plan of the Section, in accordance with prescribed methodology, monitors its implementation, and submits periodical reports to the Mayor;
  • collects data, prepares various analyses, studies, reports and information within their scope of work and submits them to the competent city and other authorities;
  • actively participates in the strategic planning of integrated development;
  • participates in proposing and preparation of project proposals and project documentation, within their scope of work;
  • performs other jobs ordered by the Mayor, and other jobs placed in their scope of work by special documents.
