Secretary of the City Assembly: Dejan Blagojević
Dejan Blagojević was born on 27 July 1978 in Gornji Milanovac, Republic of Serbia. He completed primary and secondary school in Bijeljina. He acquired a law degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade.
During his studies he worked at ProCredit Bank d.d. Sarajevo as an administrator for legal affairs. After completing the studies he worked at Profi Nova a.d. Bijeljina as a professional associate for legal affairs, and then at Nova Banka a.d. Banja Luka as a professional associate for internal control. He continued his career at Brčko District Government within the Department of Education, as legal subjects teacher, and then at PI Primary School „Meša Selimović“ Janja as a secretary of the school.
Since 2010, he has been working at the Administration of the City of Bijeljina, within the Department of Communal Police, as an independent professional associate for administrative-legal affairs and as a communal police officer, and then as a Head of Section for Human Resources Management. In July 2020 he was appointed acting secretary of the Assembly of the City of Bijeljina, and in April 2021 he was appointed secretary of the Assembly of the City of Bijeljina. He is single.
Technical service of the Assembly performs professional, administrative and technical jobs necessary to organise the sessions of the Assembly and its working bodies. It prepares and organises sessions of the Assembly and its working bodies, provides professional opinions in the work of the Assembly and its working bodies, prepares and establishes the proposal of the Work programme of the Assembly, and monitors itsimplementation, provides and prepares materials and information for the Assembly and its working bodies, and it performs other jobs in accordance with the law, Statute, Rules of procedure and acts of the Assembly.
